Applus laboratories has evaluated VideoID, our remote video identification technology, with the highest security level according to new regulations in force on European identification and electronic signatures, commonly called eIDAS.
The extent of the audit project includes the processes of application, registry, testing and the verification of the identity of individuals with the highest security level and according to IMPLEMENTATION REGULATIONS (EU) 2015/1502 OF THE COMMISSION of 8th September 2015 specifications and minimum technical procedures for the security levels of electronic means of identification under the provisions of article 8, section 3, of Regulations (EU) no 910/2014 of the European Parliament and Council, relative to electronic identification and trusted services for electronic transactions in the internal market.
This project allows our company Electronic IDentification to take a major leap in recognition of our services in electronic identification and gives added value to our clients. This evaluation with the highest security standing strengthens our position in the financial sector and gives us new openings in other industries and other countries.
